It'd be hard to say to be honest. However, given the condition of the surrounding area (lots of non-ideal habitat dominated by noxious weeds), I'd say low level immediate population. It feels less likely that they've dispersed across the 100's of meters of noxious weeds.

Hard to tell from photo but looks more like a Long eared bat than a horseshoe bat. Can't quite see the nose ridge that helps ID to species. If you have clearer pictures of the face could try ID to species.
